1986 – Development of the first generation full shaft soft starter VSA incl. patenting of the technology
1995 – Introduction of customized VSA, research on correlations between pressure ratios and electrical network feedback, development of single-phase devices
1998 – Project related research for companies such as Tecumseh, Bristol, Maneurope, Carrier, York, Copeland, etc.
2000 – Extension of patents to single phase VSA
2004 – R. Weigel Elektronik becomes a public limited company Weigel Elektronik AG
2011 – Certification according to ISO 9001:2008
2017 – Christoph Weigel takes over the management of the family business as CEO. Weigel Elektronik AG becomes Weigel AG. Development of the new generation of devices WaveStart.
